Cody Askins currently owns and operates five insurance based companies grossing over $6 million in annual sales. When he was 20-years old, Cody decided to become a full-time insurance agent despite time constraints due to going to college full-time and playing college basketball. Even so, he set a goal to make $100,000 his first year and exceeded this goal within 8 months. Now, his goal is to help train, mentor and motivate insurance agents all over the world to operate at their highest level. To do this, Cody produces Coaching Programs, Insurance Wealth University, Business Retreats, Insurance Leads, Live Events, Live Shows, and Training Videos.

  4. I am a brand new licensed insurance agent for WA and OR. So many options available not really sure where to start. Don't even know what kind of insurance I should sell, I am licensed for Life health property and causality

  5. Consistency is the key to be successful in Sales industry. I used to be one of the top producer when I was working with the bank as a Sales Rep. They asked me about the secret I have and I told them, I don't have secret. I'm just consistent and persistent 🙂 And that's not a secret in Sales industry. You just need to have the motivation to do it. My motivation is $$$. I want to get more $$$ so I did what I have to do.

  6. thanks a lot, your video was very helpful.

  7. Thanks for the awesome tips Cody! I dont know if we´re able to buy leads here in Canada, but I´m going to find out.

  8. Makes sense to me. I couldn't play baseball, but when I asked enough girls, I got past 3rd base! Lol.

  9. Cody and Dave are the best in the business! Their coaching will take you to another level.

  10. Thank you so much for the attitude, I should start as an insurance agent pretty soon and I am a bit nervous as to if I can set up enough appointments in a week, seeing videos like this motivate me and make me remember I don't want to go back to pouring concrete for a living

  11. 10 appointments a week? We're supposed to run 8 a day. 6 at the minimum.

  12. Lead???

  13. Where do you buy your leads? What do you look for in leads?

  14. 26 appointments this week four thousand dollars of a AP today $6300 for the week. you’ve got to see the people and you got to be Jacked baby!

  15. 21 appointments this week. Had quite a few no shows and time wasters, that’s part of the business. But managed to write 6 apps for $4200+ AP. I’ve only been in the business for a few months but I know that once I had a $6k+ week, having a $3-$4k week leaves me disappointed. My goal each week is 25 appointments and a minimum $5k AP. In order to get the numbers I want I have to set plenty of appointments and watch ALL of Cody’s videos!!

  16. Ran 8appointments today alone. Wrote 4 apps for $2400+ AP. Gotta see the people!! Great video Cody. As usual.

  17. Great advice. Thanks!

  18. Thanks Cody!! Love your success tips. These are going to be added to my Goals. You continue to be AWESOME!!
